16th ANNUAL
BON•ODORI DANCE PEACE DAY

The purpose of this festival is to support multicultural, global initiatives to steer the present toward a future in which nuclear weapons and nuclear generated power are no longer exist.

I believe that by educating the next generation about the history of our planet, pressing environmental issues, and the importance of respecting human rights, we can build a world free of discrimination and inequality.

​

Peace is a world where every single person can live in safety and with good health. With the aim of eliminating war—the greatest threat to that peace—as well as the production and use of atomic bombs and nuclear power generation, which continues to release massive amounts of heat and radiation, I intend to continue holding The Bon-odori Dance Peace Day.

このフェスティバルの目的は、核兵器や原子力発電がもはや存在しない未来へと現在を導くための、多文化・国際的なさまざまな取り組みを支援することです。
地球の歴史や緊急を要する環境課題、また人権について次世代を教育することによって、差別や不平等のない世界を作り上げることは可能だと思います。

平和とは、誰もが安心して健康に楽しく暮らせる世界です。平和に対する最大の脅威である戦争をなくすこと、そして原子爆弾の製造と使用の禁止、さらには膨大な熱と放射線を放出し続けている原子力発電を廃絶することを目標に、これからも「盆踊り平和祭」を続けていきたいと思います。
